Applause’s uTest community is recruiting people who live in or near New York City for paid, in-person functional testing of new wearable technology. During the roughly three-hour session you wear and use the device while completing set tasks, then share feedback on comfort and performance. The project pays $175, and multiple daily shifts are available on weekdays through early December 2026.
This is one of the longer-running in-person studies in NYC, so it is a good option if your schedule is busy right now. No technical background is needed; the team wants everyday people who can follow instructions and describe their experience clearly. Testing takes place at a local facility, and you will be told the exact address after you qualify. Apply through the User Interviews screener, and pick a shift that works for you if you are selected.
