Applause, through its uTest community, is looking for active gym-goers in the New York City area for a paid, moderated in-person fitness study. The team especially wants weightlifters, CrossFitters, rock climbers and gymnasts with strong upper-body and grip strength. The session takes about three hours and pays $200. Applications are open until November 13, 2026, so there is still time to sign up.
If you regularly train with free weights and cable machines, this is a fun way to get paid for something you already do. You will test new fitness-related technology during a supervised workout session and share feedback on how it performs and feels.
